You can customize any dashboard, depending on your role permission and your organization's subscriptions.
NOTE: When you customize a dashboard, the changes are accessible only to you.
To customize a dashboard, you can do the following:
- Change the title of the dashboard. A dashboard title can contain up to 50 characters.
Click the title of the dashboard and enter a new name. Click anywhere outside of the title field to save the change.
- Create new widgets.
A dashboard can contain up to 12 widgets. To create a new widget, click Add Widget and define its settings.
- Edit existing widgets and delete widgets. To edit or delete a widget, hover over the title of the widget and click the icon that appears in the right-hand corner.
- To edit a widget, click Edit Widget and change its settings. After you complete your changes, click OK to apply your changes.
- To delete a widget, click Remove. Note that you cannot restore a widget after you delete it.
- Resize widgets.
You can resize widgets within a dashboard, which has a fixed resolution of 1024 x 768. You can resize widgets that contain a table, a bar chart or a line chart. Widgets with pie or number charts cannot be resized. Click the icon on the lower right-hand corner of a widget and drag to resize the widget. Note that the size options of the widgets are fixed. If you enlarge a widget, the adjacent widget automatically moves to prevent overlapping.
- Move widgets.
To move a widget, click the title of the widget to drag it to its new location. The adjacent widgets automatically move, therefore the widgets do not overlap when you drag them to their new locations.
- Reset the dashboard.
Click Reset to Default to reset the dashboard to its original settings. Note that you lose any changes you made, including new widgets that you created.
