How do I configure bandwidth classes?

Bandwidth classes identify the URL categories and applications to which the service allocates bandwidth. You can group URL categories or applications into bandwidth classes, and then reference them in Bandwidth Control policy rules.

Go to Administration > Resources > Bandwidth Classes to manage bandwidth classes.

You can do the following:

  • Add up to 17 custom bandwidth classes.
  • You can have up to 8 bandwidth classes with custom domains.
  • Add up to 25,000 domains across all bandwidth classes (including URL categories).

Cloud Applications

The Cloud Applications tab lists predefined bandwidth classes to which you can add domains. The predefined bandwidth classes cannot be deleted. You can also add your own custom domains.

  • To add domains to the predefined bandwidth classes, edit the bandwidth class, and then Save and activate your changes.
